Imagine you are a skilled doctor dedicated to saving lives and providing medical care to those in need. One day, a poor patient with a critical condition is brought to your attention. Without immediate surgery, the patient's chances of survival are uncertain, with a 50:50 outcome. However, there's a crucial dilemma tied to this situation.
You discover that the patient and their family are financially vulnerable, barely able to make ends meet. The post-surgery expenses, including medication, rehabilitation, and follow-up care, are likely to be substantial. Affording these expenses could push the patient's family into a state of financial hardship, jeopardizing their basic needs and stability.
Consider the ethical dilemma you face. On one hand, you have the opportunity to perform a life-saving operation that could offer the patient a chance at survival and a healthy future. As a doctor, your duty is to prioritize the well-being and health of your patients.
On the other hand, you realize that the financial burden resulting from the surgery may place an immense strain on the patient's family. The long-term repercussions of this burden could potentially lead to severe financial instability, affecting their quality of life and the well-being of the entire family unit.
What would you do?

If that poor person whom I am operating is a bread earner then this surgery makes more sense, if he/she is an old aged one then it dosent make any sense saving life now and then throwing that family in a hard situation, lastly I will explain his family the situation and with their nod I may do the surgery
